Montana Flour & Grain sells high quality flour and whole grain kernels. We offer both organically certified products and conventional grain products. We have built our reputation on quality and service to small customers and larger food manufacturers. Many of our organic grains are sold around the world. Our grain is grown by more than 150 family-owned and operated farms in Montana, neighboring states, and Canada. We feel that the farmers we buy grain from-and the customers to whom we sell it-are important links with us in the food chain. We are committed to ideals of sustainable stewardship of our natural resources for ourselves and future generations.
We are one of the region’s leading purchasers of organic grains and provide farmers a market for a diverse range of crops. These include pulse crops as well as wheat, feed grains, spelt and rye. We are also a market for conventional spring, winter, and durum wheat.
Montana Flour & Grain is sole U.S. agent for KAMUT® brand grain, an heirloom spring wheat with “ancient” origins. We provide grower support and work to establish a consistent supply of this unique grain.

Kamut Wheat
“Buttery rich, nutty flavor” are the superlatives we hear most often when people describe why they love KAMUT® brand khorasan wheat products. This ancient grain has a wide variety of uses. It’s great in baked goods, breakfast cereals and pasta.
Grains
The hard red and hard white wheat grown in North Central Montana are recognized internationally for their quality. The outstanding breads produced from this wheat are among the finest in the world because of the quality and quantity of the protein they contain.
Flour
We take exceptional pride in the whole grain flours we produce. Our micronizer mill produces a homogenous flour at cool temperatures. Our flour is considerably drier than most other commercial flour because we do not temper (add water) to our wheat before milling as is the normal custom.
